The momentous and largest voluntary movement to save the environment, Earth Hour, is back once again for another year. What started as an idea in one city has spread to 135 countries around the world.
Earth Hour will be held this Saturday, 31st March at 8.30pm, however, it is not too late for you to get involved. Head to Earthhour.org to find your country's Earth Hour page and see what has been planned.
If you are curious about how other countries and cities from around the world are celebrating Earth Hour, visit this page here, to explore Earth Hour's map.
Don't forget you can organise your own Earth Hour event in which you turn the lights off for an hour. But remember, Earth Hour isn't just about saving your electricity for an hour, but rather a symbolic event where people from all around the globe unite to show their support for a greener future.
