Many Australians know that the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland is not only a popular holiday destination with locals, but with International tourists as well. However, the warming waters caused by Climate Change have already begun to have an impact on the largest coral reef in the world. Sadly, future generations may miss out on this beautiful natural wonder.

Not only has climate change affected the Great Barrier Reef, but according to The Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming, climate change has also played a role in the country's worst drought of 2006.
